Cocoa Mulch

This is supposed to smell incredible and The texture of Cocoa Mulch may reduce damage to plants by deterring slugs and snails. It also has the virtuosity of deterring most cats.
!!! I thought I would share. Very Happy

It was popular when I lived in W. NY area and I loved the smell. However, it breaks down more quickly than other mulches. Here in W. PA I never see it offered.

I've heard of it, but don't know anyone who's tried it - I usually use a brown hemlock or organic humus over here... I have a couple of those big rings of rubber "mulch" around small trees and it works really well, but it's expensive.

I thought a chocolate smelling mulch would be great but if it breaks down more quickly than other mulches I'm not sure it would be worth the smell Confused Very Happy
