Broccoli Brunch Braid
1/2 lb. Italian sausage, browned
2 cups cooked broccoli
1 egg, beaten
1/4 cup Honey
1/2 tps. each salt and pepper
2 Tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 cu shredded Cheddar cheese
4.5 oz can mushroom pieces, drained
8 oz can refrigerated crescent rolls
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Combine egg, honey, salt, pepper, flour and baking powder; beat well. Stir in sausage, broccoli, cheeses and mushrooms. Unroll the crescent rolls on a 10 x 14 inch ungreased baking sheet. Seal perforations. Spoon mixture in a 3 or 4 inch strip lengthwise down center. Make cuts 1 inch apart on longest sides and braid or overlap over filling. Bake for 25 to 35 minutes until browned. Cool slightly and cut into slices

This sounds absolutely delicious! I love sausage and I love broccoli. I am going to try it tomorrow. No one else in the house will eat it with me but thats fine lol more for me!
