I am down to two pets now. We did have two Flatcoated Retrievers and two cats.
Here is a photo of our remaining Flatcoat 'Busby' a very lively 9 year old who still loves his toys and thinks everyone who visits should play with him 
Our cat Penny is now 16 years old. She used to be a big girl but is now our 'little boney' as we call her. She still has her large amber coloured eyes (although she looks a little sleepy in the photo)

Busby is such a handsome fellow Gardengirl and you wouldn't think he was 9 years old. He has such a glossy coat and I would love to be able to come and share a game with him. I haven't seen another cat with such gorgeous coloured eyes as Penny's for a long time.

Oooh, those eyes of Penny's are really something else! I'd have loved to play with Busby, I miss our old flat still. I like their general playfulness, nice dogs.

Thanks for the nice comments. Busby would certainly love having you all around to play with him. Even though he is getting on in years now, he never ceases to tire  When our other dog, Bobbie, was around he used to play with him, but (as Eileen will no doubt remember) we had a lot of health problems with Bobbie and eventually lost him. We still miss him
