|
I would like to make a wreath from herbs. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. I am going to go through my books this afternoon and see if I can come up with something. It's hard to find decorations for fall and the holiday season here and I have a ton of herbs. Thanks in advance!

Lavender? Sorry, that's all I could think of. I guess anything evergreen would work. There are cypresses in Kuwait, or am I totally mistaken?

Rosemary keeps it's good looks well, and would bend easily into a wreath. I vaguely recall wiring some to a wire coat-hanger back in Ag. class. The dusty color goes really well with bright Christmas colors, in like a ribbon. I think sage holds on to it's leaves pretty well, if you tuck some in here and there.

Droopy, I am not sure if there are cypresses here. I know I can find lavender. My lavender died CritterPainter, I have a lot of rosemary, basil and oregano and I can get sage. Stephinalta, I am making it for my entry door for Thanksgiving and would like it to last for two weeks if possible.

Stephinalta, I am leaning towards a living wreath. I would rather use the lavender than the cinnamon. But I would like a Thanksgivingy wreath..so maybe the cinnamon? Decisions, decisions...
