I'm trying to type this left-handed as I broke my right wrist Saturday Rolling Eyes I was cleaning cupboards When I fell off the chair! I have no idea how it happened. I remember reaching up to move a small basket and the next thing I know is I'm falling over backwards! I broke my fall with my right hand. Broke the joint and the bones above it Crying or Very sad Had surgery Monday and now have this funky traction bar thing stretching my arm into the proper position Shocked Hurts like heck but the saddest part is I was only 2 payments away from having the hospital paid off

Deanna, I am so sorry to hear about your fall. Sad I know you are in a lot of pain, but glad you felt like coming to the stew. Stew Face 2 Guess we will call you 'leftie' for a while. Neutral Take care and don't be climbing anymore, just let the cupboards be. Wink

Sorry to hear about your fall and break, hope the wrist heals properly and very soon.

I used a friends severely sprained ankle to get out of getting up on a step stool to clean windows a few years ago, now I have a reason for not cleaning cupboards.
Wink Like I really needed a reason for skipping that cleaning chore Rolling Eyes

Ouch! So sorry for you. The newspapers tell us now and again that more people break wrists in December than otherwise due to the Christmas cleaning frenzy and lack of sturdy enough things to stand on.

Get well soon!

What a thing to happen at this time of year!!! Shocked I hope the pain goes soon and that your wrist heals without any problems. Well at least you'll have an excuse now NOT to do any more cleaning. Wink

Oh dear Deanna, that sounds very painful.
I hope you heal up quickly.
