Very beautiful Dooley. The purple and yellow irises are very lovely together!!
I'm envious of the tulips, mine didn't bloom this year!

Those are the yellow iris's that I didn't plant. I only planted purple and white. My neighbor, Frank,(not our gnome) has yellow ones so maybe they crossed. Dooley

Gosh your Iris are way ahead of ours. Shocked Ours are only about 4-5" tall at the moment and never bloom at the same time as our tulips and daffs. I think the stiped tulips are lovely and I adore your pansies - such cheery litle flowers aren't they? Very Happy

What lovely iris'.I have never had one appear in my garden yet, yet i planted them two years running.
Maybe i planted them upside down and the flowers are there, but under the soil Laughing Your tulips look fab dooley, i will do some pics of my garden soon, its a bit here and there at the moment.

Catkins, maybe you planted them too deep. Iris's should be planted just under the soil. It doesn't even hurt if part of the corm is sticking out. They seem to just grow here. Dooley

Well to be honest, i wondered that the second time around dooley and i left a little bit sticking up, after looking at your pics, i have been in the garden, i cant see any trace of them at all,yet they should be growing by now. Confused Im beginning to wonder if something has eaten the bulbs, i have quite a few spring flowers that havent appeared. Is there any creature that would eat through a bulb?
Thanks for the advice

Rodents will eat the bulbs. Chipmunks, mice, ground squirrels. We have a squirrel that we chase all the time. It lived under the house and he'd dig a hole as fast as I could fill it up. I haven't seen a hole in a week. Maybe he moved on. Dooley
