It was cloudy so we thought Monty would enjoy going out to play for a while. I caught most of it on film.

**note**No snakes or cats were harmed during the making of these pics. Rob was there the whole time. And the cats and snake are best buds.

We had some boxes and trash out by the door that was going to the trash bin so thats what youll be seeing ing the forefront. Monty was playing in the boxes. This is where I came out and started taking pics.

Warning! For your own safety and that of your computer screen, be reframe from drinking liquids as some of the following pics will make you laugh out loud. We dont want you to choke.

Monty comes out of boxes

Mouse sees her buddy is out

So she decides to smack him to get his attention

She seems so confused for a min!

They decide to go for a walk

Chase shows up on the scene

Mouse wants to play

Face to face

Mouse strikes Montys

Monty strikes back and Mouse kicks up dirt in a fast get away!

He seems so proud of himself!

But he seeks out Daddy for comfort

Daddy gives comfort and its time to go in

Mouse and Monty wonder where he went

I can't say that I am fond of snakes but I am not afraid of them, except rattle snakes. I haven't seen that many of them lately. Knock on wood!
Dan is going to do a program on snakes and lizards for the summer reading program. He used to have snakes around all the time. He sent out a call to his friends that he needs snakes for the program. He'll let the kids handle them if they are friendly. Sometimes even if they are not poisonous they can be unfriendly. He'll get some more lizards too. He'll take them out and let them go when the program is over. Dooley

I didnt like them until we got Monty. He was a little bigger than my pinkie finger when we got him 6 yrs ago in July. He is a sweet pea except when he is hungery then he is a little monster! I dont handle him when he is hungery!

Denee thanks for the laugh!! The photo in which Mouse is kicking up dirt is soooo funny and Chase seems to be thinking "What's wrong with her?" hehehe!

Cripes that flip book of photos was like something out of the movie Gladiator, the scene in the coliseum when he is surrounded by lions. Except substitute Russell Crowe with Monty. "I am Montimus Maximus" Thanks for post Denee, those were great.

Great 'story in pictures' I really enjoyed it. Mr. Green I wouldn't like to be Mouse or Chase if Monty were hungry though. Shocked Loved the one -"going to daddy for comfort." Very Happy

Chase and Mouse were only looking brave in the pics. Right after I took the one with Chase in the background and Mouse in the foreground with Monty in the middle, titled Mouse wants to play, I sneezed hard and loud and both cats jump about 2 ft in the air, straight up. LOL Man I wish i had caught that one! LOL
