My is take a 2lb. roast and brown on all sides then remove it put it in a big pan ,And I cover it with 2 pkgs. of onion gravy mix I get at the store, It really makes a good roast Cook it for about 2 hrs or a little longer ,if need be. Also put pots. in if you want. I like mashed with mine And put the gravy on top of my pots. ooh sooooo good Im fixing it as we speak.

I bet that fills the whole house with a mouth-watering aroma.
I'm getting hungry just thinking about it!

What a pity we don't all live near you Margie. We could have had a GardenStew party and helped you eat that roast!!

This is the way I fix my roast but instead of onion gravy mix I use fresh chopped onions and I simmer it down to make its own gravy as the flour coating when browned makes the thickening.
