I really haven't a clue Sheri. Maybe the best bet would be to get in touch with a pet shop that deals in exotics or even a zoo to make sure there's nothing harmful in the plant.

I had to google this and although there doesn't appear to be anything harmful in the Chia articles I read, I would still check it out with an authority on Beardies. We feed our beardie a mix of greens like spinach, cabbage, lettuce and kale, spring onions or scallions and apples.
