We had rotisserie pork ribs, baked potatos, cole slaw and apple sauce. Not traditional, but man it sure was good! The meat was almost falling off the bones!

Sounds perfect to me CK - actually we're having something very similar tomorrow only it's pork steaks instead of rotisserie pork ribs. I make my own apple sauce and cole slaw and they go down a treat. Very Happy

We grilled steaks and had baked potatoes and a delicious salad that my daughter made. I really need to get the recipe and post it. I like to break tradition once in a while. It was very good!

Oh dear, my husband would faint if I suggested anything different for Christmas Eve or Christmas Day dinner. Shocked He can play chef for the rest of the year.

Sounds delicious Capt. My family wouldn't like it much if I messed with tradition, though.

We had ham and applesauce-from-scratch too! My sweetie found a recipe that combined green beans, tomatoes, and a lot of seasonings- it looked so Christmas-ey!
Now I get the fun part, coming up with ways to use leftovers. Oop, better get the ham bone going for soup!

Love to rotiserie pork, beef and chicken. That sounds scrumptious. I tried an old recipe of my mother's on Christmas Eve, Chicken Paprikash on the spit and Galuski or Nuchki with gravey. (little dumplings)
