We went to the American Legion to celebrate last night.I was the designated driver. Today for lunch we went to Dooley and DR's .She had a wonderful lunch.Bar-B-Que ribs,black eyed peas,red beans and rice,cold slaw, corn bread,sweet tea,Dr Pepper,and Mugs Root Beer.
Then after all left dooley and I worked on her cross word puzzle for a while.We all enjoyed today.

An evening at home with my bride's sis and her husband and their daughter.
We spent all day preparing the food for a little get-together.
We cooked and served supper, dessert and an evening of cola and chippies thereafter.
At midnight we ran from window to window to watch the fireworks,
then it was back to converstions and more food and drink.
They headed off at almost 03.00. Whew! By then I was a full as a tick and had great difficulty getting to sleep.
