Anyone have experience of sweet woodruff as a ground cover? I've read that it is also in the herb family!

I love woodruff. It is one of my three most used flower bed fillers. I have moved it around most of my yard. I haven't used it as a herb. It naturalizes well here in Western Washington, along with the Pacific bleeding heart and my baby-tears. Jewell
