My daughter went to the local stock show with her best friend today. Before she left, she practiced pictures on her fish tank. She took a lot of pictures with her little camera, but I took some of her, when she found out, she was going to get to show another girl's pig for the pee wee stock show! She was so excited!

Her best friend's mother really liked this picture of a pig's rear-end!

Great looking fish tank you have there WT. Love the pig shots and the delight on your daughters face. Stew Face 2

I know she had a great time. The last picture almost shows some real concern...about 'what happens next'! Love the fish tank, it's beautiful.

BTW ...we have missed you!

Well, I appreciate being missed. Truth is, I haven't had anything to post in here in a long time! Winter is here & I did not get as many pansies planted as I'd planned to.

In early December, I had a weird experience - felt like I was in an ocean wave being whooshed to my right, but I was driving & could see, I was going straight. That only lasted about 5 seconds, then I got a tingling in my right arm & hand & right side of my face. Went to the Dr, who sent me to the emergency room. I ended up in the hospital for 3 days & got scanned & screened & poked - they found nothing. They decided, I had a "T.I.A." & should take medicines to prevent a recurrence, or a stroke. I quit taking the Plavix, because I do not want to become a hemophiliac. I recently quit taking the Lipitor, because I ws having dizzy spells. I go back to the Dr in about 2 weeks. We'll see. I feel fine, just gotta lose weight & exercise.

Looks like your girl had a good time with the pigs. Very Happy Good to see you WTxDaddy. I'm so sorry to hear that you haven't been well. Please take care of yourself, and listen to the doctor.

That looked like a lot of fun. Poor pig though, having its rear end posted on the Internet Smile

Hope all goes well for you WTx, take care.

Too fun! I still have my pig cane from when I raised & trained a Duroc back in the day. Nicest pig on the planet, I tell myself that the buyer probably used her for breeding stock, not bacon.
OK, I'm not a doctor nor do I play one on TV, but I did have a very severe stroke (5 of them simultaneously) when I was 32. They put me on coumadin; evil stuff that caused a brain hemmorage. Long story short, I'm on aspirin therapy. Again, I'm NOT an expert on the subject, but if you want to be careful while you wait, take a baby aspirin (81mg) daily, and do NOT take ANYTHING else with aspirin in it. More than 81mg and the effect negates. Mine happened while driving too, only I wound up getting an ambulance ride while my frightened children were tended to by some very kind emergency workers. (mine was caused my a vascular deformity I didn't know about)

Mary, you sound like a 'good' doctor. You gave good advice.

WTx please take care and don't quit any meds, at least without your doctors knowing it. Keep us posted. You don't have to have pictures to post something, just come and chat!! Laughing

I am taking aspirin, but it's the coated kind & 325mg/day. That's what they gave me originally in the hospital. Then they switched to Plavix. I think it is overkill on their parts, because they don't really know what happened. It is also possible that I had what is called a migraine equivalent. Work like a migraine, but no pain. I had a scan of my brain in 2001 after my mother died of a cerebral hemorrhage, but that showed no aneurysms and they didn't find any this time either. I'm supposed to get the Dr to compare the 2001 & 2008 MRI/MRA scans of my brain. We'll see if there's anything significant then.
