I mean in your garden
I am planning to get a bleeding heart and some primroses for my shady side yard.
Also planning to grow Okra - after 2 years of failed attempts at vegetable gardening, I sure hope this one is a success.
Plus will grow cosmos as a 'new annual'.
What about you all?

Soak those okra seeds before you plant, those seeds a very hard. I wet a paper towel and set them on it until they just begin to crack, then plant them thick and thin them when they are about three inches tall.

We try something new every year. This year we're going to try and get hold of some miniature hostas, "Blue Mouse Ears" is one. We're also going to try and sow some annual ground cover plants outside, just for fun.

I try something new every year. It's never planned, but just seems to happen. I do have a couple of new borders planned so we shall see.

I am also going to try sowing seeds directly to the ground for the first time this year. Of course I will save some to start indoors too - in case the ones sowed outside fails. I am always scared that the persistent and whimsical Seattle rain are going to wash away my seeds. But I will try sowing them anyways this year to see if any germinates.

I am going to do a raised bed kitchen garden, cant wait. My hubby built and filled the beds this past fall. Even had "good" dirt brought in to fill them. I am also buying seed left and right to direct sew in the spring. I did indoor starts last year and they pooped out...lol. Hurry up SPRING!!!

All my gardening will be new this year as I will be growing inside my new comercial greenhouse for the first time. Am trying to figure my plan for flower patches on the outside as well with paths throughout.

Hi Sjoerd,
Long time no see for sure......
I almost came on a week ago ,Glenda was talking to me and I didnt even know my name on here.
The nite I was to show up, I emailed her that my hubbys brother died......
That ended it quick. Now that is done.. Long story.
I did order some cranberry bushes to try this spring.
Is that a veggie or a fruit?
Never had that........I qualify for new ,??
I get an A.
