SWEET CORN With lots of butter. (Don't worry, all the diet pop I drink takes away the bad stuff butter gives you. )
Hopefully, I will harvest 4,000+ ears of corn this year.
My second favorite is peas......with lots of butter. What can I say, I guess I'm related to the Buttertons.
I like tomatoes too....without butter.

Brussels Sprouts are near the top of my favorites.
I love cooking them for Thanksgiving dinner with some baby redskin potatoes and chunks of bacon in chicken broth.
Ever since I concocted that recipe I get asked to make it for Thanksgiving every year.

As far as taste goes, I would say cucumber. But as far as nutritional value I would say it is a tie between spinach and broccoli.

That's a really tough question. Can we go month by month?
June: that first salad picked fresh
July: green beans hands down
August: pear shaped cherry tomatoes
Sept: zucchini
Oct: beets

NemaToad, that brussels sprouts concoction sounds delish -- would you be willing to share your recipe? I like to saute them with bacon and balsamic vinegar and some kind of nuts if I have any.

Mine, I think, would be spinach if I had grown it before. I'm currently trying my hand at it, so I'll let you know how it grows (in FL, that is)
Until the spinach comes it, tomatoes have a solid first place, tho

I have thought long and hard and if I had to pick just one I really can't. I guess for most versatile I would pick tomatoes but for a personal favorite I really can't pick just one!
