|
Just to get in the mood for spring...I would like to show this little film from a couple of years ago of a titmouse. She came out of the birdhouse to get a breath of fresh air before going back in to sit on the eggs again. (You may have to enlarge the screen to see it properly)
This birdhouse is right off the main sitting patio, so we could watch the goings on as we had tea.
What a show.

A lovely little clip Sjoerd and those clematis are gorgeous. Hopefully it won't be long now before the birds begin to nest this year.

I do enjoy sitting with my tea watching the birds. If you sit quiet they will come quite close. I hear them singing and communicating with each other. I have no bird houses here. I can see your little bird peaking out though. Lovely. dooley

It's so nice when the birds are fighting over the nesting space, singing, tweeting and courting in the garden. That means spring's here. The titmouse found a pretty place to nest, it's got impeccable taste in homes.

Perfect entertainment while you enjoy a cup of tea on your patio. You're very lucky Sjoerd.

Thank you folks so much. That short film clip is pretty typical of how it is here during the spring.
We went out to the lottie today and sat for quite a while. We were both pretty itchy to get started on the various tasks there that are beginning to stack-up. Let the spring come now!
