Anyone on here ever Plant the short Cranberry bushes they are selling?
I did order 2 for spring planting .. Hope they are successful.....We love cranberrys ..

THey will get drainage for sure. We live on a hill.LOL.......
Acid like the azalea I suppose.........
Blueberries acid .
I actually use Vinegar in water for that .. I get lots of blueberrys.. Must be ok..

Actually the "normal situation" for cranberries was one created by moving glaciers--there would be Kettel holes scooped out of the earth's crust, or in some cases huge chunks of glacial ice would break-off and melt, then layers of sand and plant debris/peat would be deposited in there by the glacier's movement so that a sort of boggy situation existed and then the seeds would fll into these pits and there it was--the perfect microcosm for cranberries to grow in.
This is an interesting thing to read about. I studied it years ago, but I still find it an interesting subject.

Thanks I am going to read that.
I love the challange of the glaciers and Volcanos ..
But not the actions. Poor alaska is on the verge of eruptions..
