One of the nicest things about being a gardener is going to a garden centre to spend other peoples money . Today I spent 500 euro buying all sorts of plants for a landscape job tomorrow Very Happy . Its a wholesale place , the owner is a total eccentric who refuses to serve anyone until they have all their purchases ready to go .
If an innocent civilian wanders in and asks a question , they are politely directed to the rival garden centre 100 yards up the road . This guy has survived at this for 40 years . Time wasters he calls them , yet he has no problem keeping me in his office drinking tea for an hour. Go figure ..

You mean even if it is a question like "Do you have plant X in stock?". Or you just mean directions? I'm sure it's the latter.

So what did you buy with the 500 yoyos Bugs? Anything unusual?

Laughing His theory is that I will go in along with all the other Landscapers and serve ourselves , I will spend 500 , load up my van and be gone . Wheareas a " civilian " will ask countless questions and after a half hour maybe spend 5 euros .
He can be one grumpy old man Laughing
