The warmer temps today (33F/.5C) have thawed more ice in my pond and attracted area birds for a winter birdbath. These are all goldfinches, and at times there were over 20 bathing at one time! My waterfall stays running all winter, and even when temps are subzero, the area birds are attracted there...cardinals, blue jays, finches, chickadees, and nuthatches to name a few. We grow them tough here in Wisconsin!

Brr is right I don't think I would be offering to join them in their bath right now

What a delightful series of photographs. I'm sure your birds appreciate the fact that you have running water in your garden. They certainly look as though they're enjoying their bathtime.

Kasey, those pics are so precious. I know the little birdies were cold, but it doesn't appear to bother them. Thanks for sharing.
