I thought I might try to grow some apple trees from Grocery Store seeds, then when they establish themselves, graft good fruiting clippings onto the branches. This would give me opportunity to grow multiple varieties on the same tree.
My question is:
What can I graft onto apple tree root stock? Will pecans grow on an apple tree root stock? How 'bout plums, peaches and so on?
