It got up to 64 deg F. today and we have severe storms coming through this evening. They say we could get some high winds, possibly up to 60 MPH. We had one cell come through and it rained so hard that I couldn't see the garage that's 40 ft from the house. It's supposed to be all past us by about 10 pm and then a chance of snow showers after midnight!

You've certainly had some strange weather where you are. I just hope that everything settles down for you soon.

Capt, it sounds like you got what we went through in Texas last night. Very hard rain, strong straight-line winds. No tornadoes in our part of the state, but those in Oklahoma really got battered. There are no longer 4-seasons...anywhere it seems. The weather and world are spinning out of control. Rolling Eyes

N. Mich. it has been raining pretty steady all day. The ice is broken up on the river and alot of our snow has melted. But they do say the rain will be changing over to snow with wind gust over 40 mph.

And the coast of mid-Norway has snow, finally. Laughing Don't know for how long, but it's here now.

We got almost an inch of rain last night on top of the inch of snow melt that we had. The wind was loud all night long. The news said this morning that our town had a wind gust of 68 mph. No tornados though. But lots of places in the surrounding areas have no power due to poles being blown over.

That is the weather system that is currently over me I think Capt. The rain has just changed to snow and it's very VERY windy. Weatherman says the weekend will be absolutely gorgeous - sunny and a little cooler but still mild.
