This year Shuan and I have decided to do dinner at home with our boys(3 & 7). Very Happy It was decided I would do dinner and he would do the movies. I am looking for a recipe or something that I can make that's romantic but also kid friendly. I do know that Shuan will be buying sparkling grape juice for the boys and wine for us, only if I can decide what to make. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

If your 3 and 7 year olds are like mine were and my grandson's were at that age they are probably not all that adventurous when it comes to trying new foods.

Mac and Cheese could be served in red plastic heart shaped dishes. Sandwiches can be cut into heart shapes with a large cookie cutter. You can probably find some toothpicks with paper hearts on the end and stick those in fish sticks or chicken nuggets...and let them use red plastic forks and spoons.

Decorating up the food the boys already like will give you the chance to make something special for you and your hubby. Sure takes the stress off a holiday meal if you don't have to worry about preparing something that even little ones will eat.
