I just hunted up this pattern of mine for a lady..

Was just wondering if anyone crochets these.
I did afghans and doilies not one of these.

I have done afghans but not bedspreads. I was at a yard sale today and there was a whole table of bedspreads, including some that were crocheted. I don't usually use a spread, just pull the quilt up. It looks nice and if dr goes to lay down it doesn't get messed up. My mom always used a spread. I was tempted by a chenille spread but didn't buy it. dooley

Oh I love yard sales.
Sure helped my pocket book.

The crochet spreads are for decoration . I dont think they would stay together when on our bed.

I once did one in orlon and it took a beaten on the bed......Each time it got washed something unraveled.

I love chenille.. We used to have bathrobes when we were kids.....Of course our uncle was the salesman from new yorl...LOL
Then it was strange I wrote about this ..
