Ooo.. with this new feature with posting pictures this is gonna be so easy! Ok! I haven't been doing alot of posting, as i have been trying to get ready for veggie season, getting seeds started, getting the garden tilled and composted so this year i and the wife have decided that this would be my last year of lugging that ole heavy tiller down the hill and beating myself to a pulp so, we have decided to go with raised beds to make it a little easier for next year. Here are a few pictures of what i have ready so far.
Raised Veggie Beds ( photo / image / picture from PepperDude's Garden )
2nd Photo ( photo / image / picture from PepperDude's Garden )
They are 6ft.wide x 12ft.long and 12 inches tall and the way i space my tomato plants i will get at least 10 plants per bed and still be able to plant peppers and eggplants in them also. I will probably build 2 more before next year. So are there any suggestions as to what i need to fill these beds with, as far as a secret soil mix that you know?

Neat looking set-up you've got there.
I haven't got a secret soil mix, as we don't grow many veggies.

My you have been busy haven't you? Tomatoes and peppers like high nitrogen content in the soil so I'd go for a mix with plenty in it. If you can't find one then there are some great liquid feeds on the market that should have your plants producing lots of fruits.

Wow, that's so cool, Pepperdude. It's going to be so much easier to take care of. Send us a photo when your plants are in, ok?

Hey PepperDude:
Great photos from last season -- how did it go? I usually spring for a potting soil that has water retention crystals and time released food like Miracle-Gro. If you decide to opt for something different, still use some water retention crystals and plant food.
Hope you had a great harvest.
Best -- Vic
