Just wanted to share a few pictures of my hubby and a few of his turnips he grew this year.

Amazing! What do you do with them? I grow turnips but they never get to that size, I don't think our summer is warm and long enough! Fabulous.

Holy smokes! I grew turnips too and they were no where near that size! (My dog wouldn't eat them either LOL)

When I saw the first piccie I thought - now that definately can't be her husband that's for sure. Patches certainly seems to be enjoying those turnips as much as his human and what a size they are!!

That is some giant size turnips and that little patches is enjoying his too.I dont think I've ever seen a turnip as large as those.

OMGosh... I thought I had grown the ultimate turnips, which were huge. But those are much, much larger! Patches seems to be enjoying them. Personally, I can't stand them. But I do like the greens!

I don't like to eat them either but my hubby does.we had to stop patches from eating them because we were afraid he would eat too much and get sick. He didn't want to stop.

I have never seen any that large! What a green thumb he has, what helped them? or is that a secret..I have never ate one but I know those are big from seeing the smaller ones.
