Ok... Sorry I was so busy that I couldnt take pics BUT! I have three buds on the GG in three different stages of blooming so I took a pic of each. Something you cant see in these pics is the orangish tint to the base of the buds. Its very pretty. OH! And they do have a nice scent....kind of fruity. I would call it a medium scent. Not heavy like my Chryslers but its stronger then a faint scent..LOL Mr. Green But I was around DayLilies for about an hour before I had to runaway! Im allergic to them so right when I took this pics and did the sniff test, I was stopped up and sneezing. Ill try again tomorrow and give you a report!

OK heres todays pics! These are the same three from yesterday. You can see the orange in them alot better today.

its openning quite pretty.

This is how big the largest bloom is.

There are two pics of the bush. One is brighter cuz the sun was shining very brightly. The other was taken when I had to run back inside for a sec and the clouds started rolling in.

Sunny

Cloudy

I never noticed how the sun makes the colors different! Hm! Learn something new everyday.

And yes it does have a fruity scent. Ive never smelled apricots but my neighbor says thats what they smell like. So there you go!

I know these piccies are actually for Clint but I couldn't resist saying that I think your rose is really beautiful. I love the combination of yellow and orange and the fact it seems to change colour in different weather conditions. Very Happy

OH! No these pics are for everyone to look at. I just named it for Clint so he could find it easily...tho Im not sure he did! HA!

The more I saw this rose, the more I just love it! The color combos on it as so nice and then it the whole rose bloom just changes as it gets older. It turns into a soft yellow right before its ready to deadhead.

Oh Pinki, I HAVE overlooked your piccies and feel really embarassed about it. REALLY embarassed. Please forgive me.
Well, they are quite something, aren't they! Just look at those tones, the richness of the petals. I can imagine that I can smell them. I have to say, I like your taste in roses. You have quite an eye for colour. Do you have more plans for your front yard?
There seems room enough to do all kinds of things. keep us posted and send more pics of your other plants, It's mahvelous dahling. heh heh heh.

LOL its ok! I knew you would find them! Yeah I have alot of plans! HA! I can hear my hubby sigh over that! Mr. Green I would like to get more roses to replace the four that died. But I plan on filling in that area and the area in front of the two rose trees with potted flowers and plants as they sprout. I just moved here in Jan and have the whole year to plan and plant for next spring.

You think I have an eye for color? LOL OK I will admit I do! Im an artist and so as I was planting the rose bushes, I was trying to figure out what would look good beside what and tried to keep the bolder reds away from the softer colors so they wouldnt fade out their fairer neighbor. Mr. Green Glad it worked! Thanks.
