A couple of shots of the frogs in our pond. They have laid their spawn all in one place this year, looks like we are going to be overrun with taddies!!!

We have dozens of frogs in our pond too Gardengirl. They croak away day and night and have laid an enormous amount of eggs. I've asked my eldest lad to come down and take some of the spawn away for his pond as I don't think I'll have any plants left if they all hatch out!!

It's a shame, but probably a lot of them will perish as I think the fish eat them and also the carnivorous Magpies sit at the side of the pond and pick them off. That's nature I suppose and why the frogs lay so many.

I've tried several times to get tadpoles and frogs. All the fish and wildlife seem to eat them all. What I would give to be able to hear the croaking/chirping of frogs. It is so good to see other ponds full of frogs.
