Here's one of my "unknown" roses. Any guesses what they might be?
It's a large shrub rose.

How large is large? And does it have a scent? Cuz this looks like a Leonardo da Vinci(MEldeauri' ,I think I spelled that right). Its defintaly a floribunda.

And could you do me a big faovr with this one if you could? Could you take a pic of the center of the rose bloom? From the top? A close up? Does this one have a scent? And how tall does this one stand?
It looks like a Guy de Maupassant (I think its MELsocrat) The Leonardo da Vinci and the Guy de Maupassant were breed by the same company, hence, MEL.
But this one also looks like Astride Lindgen.

HAHA! No I really dont know all that much about roses, I dont think! But I guess after reading this thread, maybe I know more than I thought! HA!
Im still learning so I could be wrong but the floribunda has an abundance of flowers that has been cross breed a hybrid tea and a polyantha, altho not always. And heres how I tell a floribunda on sight... The higher the petal count the flatter they are on top.(look at the pics, you can tell they are flat on top for the most part with a high petal count, meaning lots of petals) The lesser the petal count, the more cup shape it is. Not always but thats my cheat sheet!
And I could be totally off and it be a polyantha! HA! And even still worse , it could be a Old Garden rose...tho most of the Old Garden roses with alots of petals tend to have a larger petal count then those roses seem to have.

I'll have to take more photos later in the season, these were from last year. But...I'll repost these when they are in bloom again with better/more angles & closeups.

Found the top pictured one today at Kmart. It was called "Heirloom". Now I remember buying it!
