Tomatoes grow really well in pots.

My sis in town did it yearly.
I had tomaotes in a pot hanging down the side of the porch and ate off it all summer. Just let it hang if you have a high porch .. Beware it grows down an you have to pick from the bottom an top.lol

My firetail is in a pot. I was able to bring it in over winter and keep it alive. It started showing new flowers in February!
