Here's a nice lil plant that flowers for quite a while. I have no idea what this is so any help would be cool. This sits on a corner of a flower bed right outside the back door. I actually covered some of this up with mulch to make the plant more compact and less stretched but its popping up in other places..

It really is essential with many plants that you know the proper botanical name too. Some plants have several different common names depending on where you live, who was growing them and what they thought the plant looked like, etc.

There are many plants with similar common names but belong to totally different plant families.
In my three years on GS, I have learned the importance of knowing the botanical name Wink

And for us foreigners the botanical name is a necessity. Laughing I frequently don't know what you English-speaking members talk about and have to look it up.
