They are gorgeous birds, we got lots around here. I just don't like it when they rob the nests of all the other birds each spring.

I have some of those around my house. They've been coming quite close the last few days. Maybe they have figured out I belong here and one of these days I'll get a picture of them and the cardinals. Your's looks to be enjoying his meal. dooley

We used to put cat food outside for our cat and it would disaappear very quickly, but the cat wasn't getting any fatter. Found out that several BlueJays were eating almost all of it!

First I seen them up close.
I love the colors.. But they are in the crow family along with the cardinals, thus trouble makers in the food area..

Cardinal is in the Cardinalidae family.
But they can be ornery when it comes to their food, they certainly do like their sunflower seeds.
