Do the raised beds help with weeds? I noticed there are NO weeds in your beds.

Your plant are really showing great growth and care Yummmy .
I love your raised beds and they are so easy to weed.I have used these in the past.If you put the beds on cement plastic it keeps grass and weeds down so much.Cover the ones not in use in the fall and if it rains are snows uncover but always keep covered when weed and grass seeds are flying around during drying stages.

PepperDude -- are there REALLY tomatoes called Jack Johnson and Bagojevich? Or did you make those up? Either way, funny!

Thanks for all the kudos everyone! I am hoping these raised beds work out great (so far they are!)
daisybeans, on the 2 varieties that you ask about the Jack Johnson came from Dan and Val out of Canada and here is a little about the tomato.

Now the Blagojevich tomato is from a friend that has crossed Pink Brandywine with another great producing red. So he grew the cross out last year and had gotten 3 different tomato plants so.. he sent the seed from the individual plants to 3 different people. And as he was packing the seeds he was in a hurry and just named them with something that just popped in his head. They are just a working name so he had something to write in his records. That name will most likely be changed once the grow-out is completed.

Wow, look at you go. I was surprised to see your cabbage and onions so big. You must be atleast a month maybe 1 1/2 month ahead of us. I have tomatoes started and am hoping it starts warming up soon otherwise these toms of mine will be in the greenhouse until the garden soil warms up.
Your garden is looking really good.

Your veg garden has come on so well in such a short space of time. hopefully you should be eating some wonderfully fresh veg in no time. I think it always tastes better when you grow it your self.
