We have either Centipede or St. Augustine grass in our front yard. We have not been able to determine which!! It would not really make a difference except that it is dieing and we need to know what it is to determine what to do. We are to the point that we are fixing to spray the areas that are still green with round up and start over. BUT we don't want to plant the same kind of grass. What do you recommend???? Is there an alternative?
I did sent off for a soil sample and all the numbers came back good.

Do some research to see if there are some native grasses that you could use. They would not need any special care after established, less care in the future means a lot less time and money spent on your yard.
