Had a hunch Walmart might be marking their bulbs down more today. Guess what? All bulbs were marked down 50% off their clearance prices today! I was there at 7am too, so came home with two bags full....and I've already planted them all. LOL

I pretty much grabbed anything that didn't look rotted, and would not require digging. One bearded iris (Dover Beach/lt. blue), a bunch of lilies (multi color). That's pretty much it, the rest looked suspect. But I did go back and get more lilies for a mass planting along the ditch. Some anemone, and caladiums too.

But then...I decided to try another Walmart, and their bulbs weren't 50% off, so I got distracted by roses and came home with a Baby Carnival, Fragrant Cloud, & Bluegirl. Then...I was near the best nursery around, and got distracted by a Betty Boop rose, and just had to have it too. It was 20% off though...but pricey. So much for the bargains. Shocked

Here's my Betty Boop I couldn't resist:

Nothing like a good sale - I'm tempted to go scrounging around here to see if any of my stores have any leftovers like that. What fun!

Beautiful shot of Betty there - no wonder you are proud of her.

Ah you're a lady after my own heart!!! Discounted bulbs and then getting distracted by beautiful plants that scream at you to take them home. Wink Wink Sounds as though you got some good bargains today. Betty Boop is absolutely gorgeous - I wouldn't have been able to resist her either.
