not sure but i may have lost an elephant ear although i have 3 different spots they grow in and they seem to be coming up at different times. One spot isnt doing anything yet...

not sure why but i have one of those fancy Rembrandt tulips that are white and red and named after a painter or something and they didnt bloom up this year. The leaves are all floppy, anyone know why tulip leaves fall over?

You dont say your zone.

Maybe the heat.. Lots of plants droop in the hot sun.

Mine froze a little bit.

So far things seem OK but if we keep getting too much rain I most likely will loose some from being too wet...Of course I bought some more daylilys because I had planned on some not making in and they should be delivered in a few weeks....

I lost a few shrubs thanks to rabbits eating all the bark off them. I had to remove the skeletal remains of a burning bush and a Weigelia.

Those darn rabbits also chewed on a Smoke Tree but it is struggling to survive. Then they chewed on a ServiceBerry tree and *gasp* my beautiful Eastern Redbuds. Luckily they will survive minus a few branches.

*note to self*
Next year, I WILL remember to put chicken wire all around the trees and shrubs.

I.....the annuals I started indoors are just kicking the bucket one after another???????Beats me why.

The ones which are skinny like a hair?/
Damp off?
New soil from the store?/

Plenty of water ..

??

bsewnsew, if the plants are skinny, it might be they're not getting enough light.

Alyssum is an annual up here too. to overwinter it, we just let it self seed.

I think most of my tiny lily plants commit suicide.

Crying or Very sad I'm really sorry about your Iris pumila Droopy. I'm still waiting for my Russian Sage to show a sign of life and 3 of my Roses. I'm also wondering about my short Shasta's. Crying or Very sad

No, not the lilies, Barb? Oh dear, bushes are so hard to loose. We lost half our Syringa the other year. They leave such huge empty spaces. I hope your shastas are just late.
