Thank you, Eileen. I find that Acers, in general are nice trees. I hope that you can find some old fotos. ---BTW, that foto that yuou posted at the top of this thread came out very well against the green of the tree that is behind it. Excellent foto!

Here are my other five Acers.
The first one I'm sure you're all familiar with as I've posted piccies of it before.
The next two are just two years old and will be shaped when they get bigger.
The last two are the ones that I planted in the front garden last year as new grafts and they're still just babies. Their leaves are only now beginning to open as they are in a less sunny part of the garden. I have a lot of patience and I know that in a few years they'll be real beauties.

Totally stunning.
This is the first time that I see an Acer that is so very pink. Absolutely beautiful.

Beautiful! I, too, love rescuing plants from the clearance section! Great find! I don't have any acers, but I might try to find a spot for one, now!

Those are such beautiful varieties, Eileen. You realkly have a way with these sorts of trees. I take my hat off to you.

Looks great, and love the foliage. They're a bit touchy here, and I'm afraid to try them.
