Maybe a lily? though I've never seen one without foliage. Nice surprise plant. Let us know what it turns out to be.

I vote for it being an amaryllis too. I wonder what colour it's going to be? Very Happy

We all my theorys are out the window if it is.

There is not crowded roots, and not any soil in the pot.....No watering and no feedign .

If it turns out to be one..I have to dump the amaryllis and put them into a ice cream bucketlol

I once had an amaryllis that I completely forgot about.
I'm talking total deprivation. It had some light, but that's about it.
I stumbled upon it one day and saw some green - so I started watering it.
next thing you know it was a-bloomin'.

When we bought our amaryllis in Jan we searched through the boxes as they were all like yours in the boxes but bent around the square cardboard box we got the only one who had only just sprouted so my money is on an amaryllis also, cant wait to see the blooms!

Hi! Stew Face 2

The bulb growth in the picture looks like an Allium shoot.

The Odd bulb which I showed you, has just become odder........
last few days, each window where I put the plant, it bended away. I moved it to 3 different locations and it kept bending.. So I put it in the shade part, it bent toward a corner.
yesterday I put it in my bedroom where the blind were down.. And today the plant is standing perfectly straight .
My theory, it likes it in the dark????????

What amaryllis acts like that?
Or Lily or anything. It is tall now , Hope it opens by weekend.LOL
Sure is funny.
