I put my tomatoes in pots because we couldn't decide what to do about a garden. We finally fenced a 20x25 foot section next to Chance's yard. We put up wire fence and then this orange fence to deter the rabbits. It isn't finished because we had to go to the doctor today.
We are going to put down black plastic over the grass and then cut holes for the squash. We'll put compost and potting soil in the holes we dig and plant the vegetables. We bought mulch to go over the plastic. I think we are coming to the end of new things and will just try keeping what we have going through the summer. Our orange buckets of tomatoes will go in the orange garden, too. They do match.

What a great idea to match up your buckets and fence! hee hee. What a great project Dooley. Your energy astounds me. I know you have a lot of cool 'maters -- this is going to be quite an awesome veggie patch!
