Its me again does anyone know where we can get some pretty cheap stakes for our 60 tomatoes, here they are about 3.00 a piece, that's to much to spend for 60 plants please help.
Thank you Margie

Most good garden centres will have bundles of garden canes for sale that will be less expensive to buy than individual ones. However, try asking if they have any used ones as they are a great deal cheaper. They may even give you them for free.
You could also try using straight branches from your or a friendly neighbours, trees as they can make good support for your plants.

Eileen answered you the way I would. If you can get knee hi hose they make good ties as they don't cut the stalk easy.

I buy bamboo stakes, they are about 1.50 each at discount stores...lowes and home depot sell them as well.

I found 4 foot bamboo stakes at Lowes for $0.69, don't think you'll find much cheaper than that.
