Not a huge deal, except for the fact I had to find a curtain rod near 130", and I did find one without having to special order. I inherited vertical blinds that I did not care for with the house. The curtains fit the room much better.

Here's the before pic, before we removed the carpet. I tried to "make it work" by painting the walls, but it never worked, especially after going to the wood floor. They blinds were a gray cast, all my decor was in browns.

Here's the new curtains & wood floor. I like it much better. Sorry about the blurry pic.

Oh, I like the look of the room with the new curtains. Makes the room look more inviting and comfy.

Oh those curtains really soften the room Toni. Smile Soooooooo much better than the blind. I'm glad you chose the two colours as a block of one or the other wouldn't have looked as good. Well done!!!

The lamp against the curtain really adds to them. The colours are very similar to my county's colour, maroon and white Very Happy That county being Galway in Ireland.

It really softens the room, and makes it so inviting. Very nice!
