I hate to admit it, but the paint was my idea (it did look better than the photo depicts), but the carpet came with the house, and we hated it. Last year we re-did it all. Everything is DIY.

Oh... and I repainted that white refrigerator using appliance spray paint. It has held up well for over a year now.

The new look of the diningroom is stunning, elegant look. The floor is really nice too.

I have never had the nerve to paint an appliance, yours looks really nice. I had a friend many years ago who covered her extremely old refrigerator with blue/white checked contact paper....never wanted to do that tho.

Doesn't the dining room look sooooo much better without that carpet and with the new lights!!! So much easier to keep clean as well I'll bet.
We pay extra for coloured 'fridges over here. I never actually thought of spray painting any of my appliances. A great idea!! Very Happy
