For the last two years I have been wondering where the Monte Negro Lily was. It didn't come up, it didn't bloom but back in Feb I found some Asiatic Lilies that were coming up under the Daylilies and moved them where they could grow and get some sun.

And this is what bloomed this morning.....

Monte Negro Lily ( photo / image / picture from toni's Garden )

There are others I moved too, I really hope they are all the same kind. But they still need to be moved so after they bloom I will be moving them to an even sunnier location.

What a wonderful rich deep red. I can understand why you were so excited to find them.

I'm very good at planting bulbs and forgetting exactly where I put them, and then plant over the top Embarassed . (One of my favorite pass times? Shocked ) Gardening is such a fun adventure Laughing for me.

I knew you all would like the color, I wish it was on a taller stem so it would show up more. But next year it will be more highlighted in another part of the garden.
