H i Gang, Our grass was so pretty when the start of spring and know the top of the grass is brown and looks like its been burnt and its really not that hot here know, does anyone have any ideas on what might be going on< its just the top parts of the grass.

Not sure about where you are but that usually happens here for two reasons. One too much fertilizer and not enough watering in or watering during the hottest part of the day.
Other than that since I am making good progress on getting rid of our lawn, I have no other ideas about what might be causing the burnt tops.

dull mower blades
mowing wet grass
disease
smothered from adding too much amendments
over fertilized
Could be any number of causes. Could also be symptom the grass is dying. We need to know what you have done to the lawn and what you put on it.

I would have your mower blades sharpened.If the blades are not sharp they will rip the grass and that leads to burning.
