I have to confess I got a bit worried when I spotted Gabriella flat out in her paddock a while ago. She's not one for lying down like this, but she was obviously just enjoying the heat from both sun and sand:

And today our furry babies Snuske (in the back) and Lord Paint put themselves on recharge on the veranda floor. The concrete absorbs heat during the day so it's a perfect place to while away the chillier evenings when you're a pussycat:

They normally can't be too close together, but today seemed to be an exception, or maybe it's just a comfortable distance.

I can't blame Gabriella, Snuske or Lord Paint for enjoying the warmth today. I would have been outside myself but, to be honest, it was waaay to hot for me. We Scots just aren't used to having temperatures of 24 degreesC at this time of year. Rolling Eyes Actually we're not used to hot days at any time of year. Razz

Laughing Eileen, that's too funny. We also had 24C today, and with the 12C from yesterday I just got too hot.

Heh heh heh... well, what an amusing sight this is. Those guys really look like they are enjoying themselves. I reckon that they are making the best of it whilst they can.
That Gabriella looks very pretty---even sprawled-out on the ground.

I can see Gabriella worrying you laying down like that. The little colt in the field next to me was laying down and as I walked over to him he didn't move. Finally when I was atop of him he moved, but boy did my heart race! Your kitties look very content there even being so close together. I must comment on how CLEAN and WHITE Gabriella is Smile

Gabriella looked very white in that photo, probably thanks to the bright sunshine. Laughing Can you imagine what she looked like when she got up?

Lord likes to play with Snuske, but he's generally too rough so she just runs away and hides. I think cats are solar powered.
