Let me understand, you both like the mosaic in the shower but you disagree on what to coordinate with it, right?
Also, I did not see a sample of what the mosaic looks like.
What material is the entire bathroom (and shower) floor? Laton?
Imagine alternating both shower walls with one row of Laton, one row of orange glass subway tile, one strip of mosaic and another row of glass subway. Continue alternating this same pattern down both walls. This would give you about 2-3 rows of the combination (roughly). In fact use any combination of these tiles.
Would that be enough of a variation to satisfy you both? It's not too dark brown, and not too much of a color splash...in case you decide to sell later you may not want to lock into such a pronounced color as orange.
Now, if I had to choose between the two options, I would just live a little and go with your idea... add some pizazz!
