I bought this at Home Depot last year for $15, end of season sale. Its a combo cherry tree, supposed to have different varieties grafted on to it. It has several cherries on it, not ripe yet, birds starting to gnaw on them.

Hi,
your cherries are going good, but be alert from the birds.

My husband loves cherries. I like them too but rarely get a chance to eat them before he finishes them off.

Will hanging metal flasher things from the branches scare off the birds?

Yes, its a cute tree and I was intrigued by the label that says its a combo and has more than one cherry variety, though it didn't specify what types I have. I sure hope they're not sour cherries! Just happened to spot it late last summer while at Home Depot when I got bored trailing after my husband and headed to the garden centre. I bought several fruit trees that were on for half price or lower. Haven't seen this type of tree at Home Depot this summer.
