Hi,
I am looking for an interior design software. Currently, I am taught Autocad 2009 and 3D Max.

However, I found Autocad tedious though advance. This I meant it does not has a visual ruler (something like what you can turn on in Word or Visio software) that allows me to draft works in mm, inches or even cm, metre.

Are there any software that provides such as ruler feature and yet able to import files in/out of Autocad, 3D Max; and raster image, and is seriously
advance as Autocad software since many users are using the Autodesk suite of software, that may have some issue on portability.

Any opinion which is the best interior design software?
