Ive been told what this is but my spelling is awful and my searches came up with nothing, im told its called something like Geehlia can anyone ID for me please Confused

I think it looks like a Weigela. Weigela florida (Old-Fashioned Weigela)

We have two weigelas out front of our house, I think theyre my moms fave shrubs ^_^

There are a lot of new ones coming on to the market at the moment. We have a yellow one. W. middendorffianum, very beautiful. We have another one which starts off white and then goes pink as the flower ages. No name for that one. Sorry, no pictures, we cannot access Photobucket at all these days.
