    Yum! Congratulations :stew2:

I have a couple of hanging baskets of strawberries. Last night, I took them down to water them. Then I got pre-occupied with watering a garden. When I came back, a chipmunk had taken a bite out of each ripe strawberry.

Darn chipmunk. Looking into my crystal ball, I can see into his (their) future. I see a long drive into the countryside to their new country home.

Nice looking strawberries you have, congrats.
I wonder if HD or Lowes still has strawberry plants, you all have gotten me hungry for homegrown.

Oh how exciting!!! They look lovely and delicious! I love that pot you've got too.

CC, you have a time with those chipmunks, don't you? They're into everything.

I have three plants and nary a berry... had some, but "someone" ate them when they were small. Not sure if it had feathers or fur. Hope it enjoyed them... :-x

Yummy, looks delicious. I'm so envious of you all who have strawberries already. We've still got a while to wait.

We have been picking strawberries for a few weeks now. Something also got my first ripe berry. I went to Agway the next day and purchased netting for seven dollars and change. I have not lost a berry since. :-D

Just look at those big, fat juicey-looking strawbs.
I can just imagine that you will relish every bite...I sure do.
