I apologize for the sorry description. I'm posting for my mother. She's good at growing flowers but not so good at using the Net. I've attached a photo.

Looks more lik Oenothera biennis (Common Evening Primrose) to me.

Lilies have long thin leaves that come from the base of the plant.
